I had this vehicle in for a oil change on 6/16 and there were no engine problems until now. It basically died on the highway, sputtering and bucking. When the tow operator noticed a good amount of oil seeping underneath. When he looked in the area of the oil filter, he just ran a finger over it and it came right off! Now, I am sure there is no way an oil filter should come off this easily. I have sent the garage a faxed letter this morning on the problem. I am hoping they realize the fault and liability of their garage in the matter. There is a good deal of engine damage that will need to be addressed because some garage person is incapable of handling a basic oil change.
