After this happened last night, I came across an almost exact scenario to mine on this website. I had put my truck in reverse to back into my driveway and thought I heard a weird noise. When I stopped, I applied the parking brake b/c my driveway has a slight incline and my foot, which was on the brake pedal, suddenly went all the way to the floor and the brake, VDC off, and Slip lights all popped on!
I understand autos break but what angers me is that, after researching this issue, the problem is known to Nissan and nothing has been done to correct it in all these years! Overall, my Armada has been good to me with no real complaints. However, this is a real problem b/c luckily I was at home and not on the road when this occurred!
