Sometime around 2004-2005 time frame, this car started locking and/or unlocking whenever it felt like it. you might lock the doors, then a few seconds later they would unlock. or, you might unlock it and get out and it would lock up on you. several times before i realized how unpredictable this was, I locked the keys in the car with the engine running. I had it to several mechanics and nobody could figure it out. they could not even turn off the power door locks. over the years i just learned to roll a window down if I left the keys in the ignition for any reason.
