Crossover pipe connecting manifold to exhaust developed a hole back in August 2004. Part was ordered from Chrysler dealer end of August, have not received it yet. The consumer was told that there were 1300 crossover pipes on back order and Chrysler was redesigning the part. The consumer wanted to know if there was any danger of exhaust fumes coming into the vehicle while driving or idling. The consumer would like to know if there should be a recall since there appears to be an inordinate number of parts on back order.
