The right front wheel broke off. All studs were snapped with only one lug nut located. The van had been taken in for service twice due to the noise in the front section over a period of several months. I was told nothing was wrong. Seconds before the wheel snapped the steering column and steering wheel began violently shaking. The steering wheel and ignition locked up 3 times recently shortly after I heard noises in the steering column. The ignition and steering column must be replaced. I am afraid to drive this van. I feel it is unsafe. Chrysler will not release me from my lease. The dealer will trade but it will cost me an additional $200 a month. I am told I must pay for this van in order to trade. Why should I pay for a lemon?
