I did attend the Recall for the airbag sensor replacement. But oh surprise! As my car was not showing sights of failure at that moment, the dealer did the tape reinforcement repair. As expected, after the warranty period for that cheap repaired expired, the Air bag light came off and now the dealer wants to charge over $800 for the replacement!

This is my daily driver, so use to commute with my wife from home to any place back and forward. Now this risk is on the car (no airbag activated for the passenger) I hesitate to let her in. You may wonder how upset is her now with me and with GM! No happy wife, no happy life, kind of a pain on the ass each time I need to go out on my car and tell her to stay home for her safety.
