I purchased the Toyota corolla when the car was brand new the brakes started getting a low pedal after 5000 miles. I drove the car for 168,000 miles and I had to adjust the brakes or replace the rotors and pads frequently. I sold the car and it was a good car in every way except for the brakes. This car must have the oil changed every single 5000 miles and the transmission oil changed every 15000 miles or the car will not last very long. My daughter purchased a 2006 brand new Toyota Corolla from Tucson AZ Toyota Dealership the 4 tires shredded every 5000 miles I took the tires off my 2005 and gave to her. the 2006 shredded the Bridgestone I gave her a set of Michelin off my 2005 the 2006 Corolla shredded all four tires of the Michelin. The dealership told my daughter it was all in her head and to get off their lot. Her car was only into 10000 miles when she had to trade the car off and lost 10,000 dollars. The 2006 Corollas have chassis problems and cannot have an alignment. This Dealership should be arrested They told my daughter to get off their lot or they would call the Police and then my daughter a school teacher turned this dealership over to the Better Business Bureau, the Tucson Dealership told the Better Business Bureau that my daughter drove up to their Tucson AZ lot and tried to drive over the Salespeople with the 2006 Toyota Corolla-----A BIG FAT LIE. Be Aware of the 2006 Toyota Corolla, you may have to buy many sets of tires.
