It was frustrating, every time when you go to change the channels, it completely cuts off, and if there's any CD's in it, it will eject them out. Couldn't even change stations or tracks hardly with this happening. Wish they would issue a recall, could be potentially a fire or smoke hazard! I replaced it with a Pioneer radio, when I got the stock one out, it smelt like it was burnt. You would think it would've lasted a long time since it being a 2013 model. The Pioneer radio completely fixed the issue!

Took my car in to Toyota of Larson Tacoma WA on 3 different occasions for a fix to my radio problem. They said they exchanged the radio and the problem still exists. I went back and their answer to fixing the problem was no answer. The service department said they didn't know if there was a fix and I should contact Toyota. I called to talk to the service manager on 1/30/14 and left a message and still have not received a call back.

It's apparently an issue with the wiring if the radio was replaced and I am still having the problem. I would guest my car is not the only one with this issue. Toyota needs to come up with a fix or give cash incentives. My radio with navigation was a $1500 option.
