113,000 miles, transmission started slipping, then skipping 2nd gear, horrible burning fluid smell. Stuck in a used tranny and dumped the car. This is the second time a Ford, yes its a Ford drive train in this Mazda, died on me (2001 Focus died @ 65,000 miles). Never buy a Ford/Mazda four cylinder, automatic, drive train.
