This is the first brand new car I have ever bought so you with think with it being a brand new car things would hold up right? WRONG!
In March of 2020 the chrome trim on the edge of the electronic parking brake toggle switch began to bubble up and peel. I took it to the dealership (Landmark Ford, Springfield, Illinois) and the informed me that the switch had to be replaced and that it was 100% covered. So I thought cool, that solves the problem.
Well, here we are now in September of 2020 and guess what? The chrome on the switch has bubbled up AGAIN! I contacted the dealership once again and they said I have to schedule an appointment and that someone from the service department would call me. I am still waiting on a call. I am aggravated at this point because you spend $20,000 on a car (November, 2019) 4 month later there is already a problem. As irritating as that is 5 months later to present time and here we are again. Ford needs to come up with a solution to this problem.
