Transmission Slipping
2010 Hyundai Elantra (Page 1 of 3)
This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Hyundai dealer.
CarComplaints.com Notes: There's an emerging trend of transmission problem with the 2010 Elantra at fairly early mileage.
So far owners report having the transmission replaced under warranty but that won't hold up for much longer. It may be a bit premature but for now we're putting the "CLUNKER" rating on the 2010 Elantra just to be safe.
Speaking of being safe, you might not be unless Hyundai can figure out why their airbags aren't deploying.

I saw few complaints on this site but nothing that can help me complain and get my transmission fixed by the manufacturer. I am a social media person and I will post this on whoever wants to hear it because I don't find it fair that at 122K I have to pay for a new transmission which will cost me 2K and assume the manufacturer's mistake or bad parts! I am aggravated. Anyway, I will still try to talk to Hyundai Canada to see if they can do anything! Will keep you posted.
