Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety.

MDX 4WD 6-cyl

A loud "droning" sound comes out at 2,000-2,200 mph, especially loud at approximately 40-45 mph. Dealership and manufacturer say that this is a "natural sound" of the 2004 MDX. I do not buy this explanation it is hard to believe that an expensive SUV such as this would have a "natural sound" like this loud droning sound. It is very loud especially during cold weather. They insist that this is related to the new dual exhaust system of the 2004 MDX. What if it is engine or transmission related?
