Continues to be a phantom draw on my battery when car is not driven within 10-12 hours or shorter period if outside elements are cold causing more drain on the battery. Alternator checked out fine. This is the 4th battery within 6 months time. All fuses have been checked and none seem to be the culprit. This very frustrating not having a reliable vehicle and always having to carry jumper cables, not to mention not very safe in this day and age. Next stop is taking it to the dealer and trying to determine what is draining the battery.

hands free link / parasitic battery drain - dead battery

Agustin - while your loyalty as an employee is admirable, your deflection of the parasitic battery drain as a mere inconvenience, is disheartening. To Acura owners, repeatedly experiencing the inability to start their vehicle, is a HUGE issue. For the substantial monthly payment I'm required to make for the car, I have minimum reliability and performance expectations. A car that won't start after setting for 10-12 hours does not meet those benchmarks. Your defensive posture and comments reflect that job security is primary to any Brand promise and commitment the American Honda Motor Company and Acura have made to their product owners. I don't mean to pile on you but your blind defense of this clearly documented product malfunction are the type of actions that give car Sales and Service businesses the sleazy reputation assignments they have earned. I have joined the class action suit filed for the HFL and urge others experiencing the problem to do the same.
