In June 2020, I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau {Complaint Case #792982} against Acura Corporate Headquarters. Acura Headquarters never responded to the Better Business Bureau. Previously, I had experienced the paint peeling problem on the tailgate. Acura had the problem corrected under a Goodwill program since I've been a loyal customer who has purchased 7 Honda/Acura vehicles. They paid a certain percentage and I had to pay the rest.

Then in March 2020, I went to the Acura Dealership and informed them of the paint peeling on the roof of my MDX. They took photos and informed me that this was a common problem with that particular color. They submitted the photos to the Area Manager who denied to repair the peeling paint. I recently discovered that Acura extended the warranty on 2014-16 Acura MDX for the same problem that I'm having on my 2012 MDX. Specifically, vehicles that are painted with the NH-603 White Pearl Diamond, which is the color that my MDX is painted with. Most dealerships are aware of the problem with that particular color paint, but Acura Headquarters failed to include 2102 MDX models
