The contact owns a 2010 Acura TL. The contact stated while driving approximately 45 mph, there was a loud popping noise from the top of the vehicle. The contact opened the sunroof cover and noticed that the sunroof glass was shattered. The vehicle was taken to a private mechanic who stated the sunroof needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The vehicle was repaired. The approximate failure and current mileage was 40,000.
