Takata recall. I have been notified of a major safety defect that profoundly affects both the safety and utility of my vehicle with absolutely no timeline for when this will be remedied. This is unacceptable.
"takata recall" I received a notice 7/2016 and immediately went to coral springs Audi and was told they did not have the part to repair this issue.I have continued to check for a remedy with them and am still told they can not fix what could be a deadly situation with faulty airbags. It scares me to drive my car, I would like to have resolution. I do not have another vehicle at my disposal.
Takata recall. I was notified back in July that my car has this faulty and dangerous air bag on the passenger side of my car and that I should not drive the car with a passenger in the front seat. The recall notice stated a "recall repair is not available." I just checked the Audi recall site for an update and there is no change. I also called Audi's support and they have no idea whatsoever when my airbag will be replaced. I have been driving this car for over 6 months with a dangerous airbag and I still do not have any idea as to when it will be repaired!

It is now December 2016 and Audi has no timeline on when the airbags will be replaced. I am forced to drive in a vehicle with serious safety concerns every day. It is 11-06-2016 and there is no attempt to fix my car. This recall has been issued for months and Audi has not provided any solution other than no one can ride in the front passenger seat. This is unacceptable. This is my son's car and we are in one of the more dangerous zones according to the data for these air bags to fail. I would like something done asap.
