Just seeing now after researching all of the problem occurring across the C8 platform vehicles. Very disappointed Audi has not taken a pre-active approach, especially considering the real dangers involved in the failures.

It looks like the 48V starter-generator needs to be replaced under the NTSA technical service bulletin. What I am wondering is if Audi will pay for the battery also. They are charging $500+ to replace the battery before they can do the diagnostics. Does the 48V starter-generator failure damage the battery rendering it useless?

numerous faulty sensor readings

My 2019 Audi A-7S was bought at the end of June 2019 and starting almost right away, serious faults sensory issues started to arise. It has been in the shop three different times for a total of 40 days roughly. They were only able to fix the turn signal issue sensor and a collision warning sensor but the rest have been not fixed. The lane guidance system continually goes on and off when it feels like it, steering wheel sensor goes on and off when it feels like it and the cruise control shut itself off with a sensor when it feels like it.

There is also other electrical problems I will list on other boards. Audi Gainesville has not fix the problems and ignored these issues. It has spent the last 18 days at their shop promising me to work with Audi to get me a new car and they lied! It also has clearcoat coming off. We took pictures, they took pictures and now they say it was from somebody hitting it. There was no marks on this car at all! This is our fourth and final Audi. We have bought all our Audi’s new and this is the treatment we get! We are in the beginning stages of filling a lemon law complaint! MMA screen failures, phone connection failures and seats that won’t remember their settings. Fun isn’t it!?🤬
