Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety.

While driving down the interstate the moon roof spontaneously exploded! it was not hit by anything, it just exploded. I have done a little research and have found that Audi has had a problem in the past with faulty glass causing their moon roofs to explode and had to issued a recall for this problem. I contacted Audi and requested them to replace my moon roof. They gave me the run around and then unfortunately, decided that they are unwilling to assist me with the replacement of my own moon roof because it was not one of the models recalled and my car is over 10 years old so it is out of warranty. Thank god my children were not in the car to be injured by exploding glass and thank god it was 5:00 in the morning so there was no traffic around for the explosion to have caused an accident! Audi has treated this like it's not big deal, something that should be expected to happen after owning one of their cars for 10 years, and that it is my problem for having an "old" car. Shame on Audi for not taking responsibility for this!
