The vehicle was taken to the dealer for regular maintenance, and it was determined that the front left lower control arm separated, which could break off the front of the vehicle. Repair was performed by the shop. The rear mount of the lower control arm was traditional horizontal mounting. This caused the rubber to separate from the lower control arm. Buick denied there was a problem even though the design had been changed..

Consumer states has had numerous brake problems since vehicle was purchased. At 11500 mi had to have rotors turned and brake pads replaced. At 12500mi replaced front rotors, brake pads and galipers. At 24000mi replaced rear brake cylinders, cut down/turned rear drums, replaced front rotors and replaced 2 lower control arm bushings. Passenger side window was rattling.
