Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety.

The contact owns a 2007 Buick Lacrosse. The contact stated that while exiting a parking space, the vehicle accelerated abnormally. The brakes were applied but failed to stop the vehicle as the vehicle continued to accelerate and crashed into several other vehicles. There were no injuries and the vehicle was towed a collision shop. The dealer was contacted and stated to the contact that they were going to inspect the event data recorder box that was located into the vehicle. The diagnosis was that the vehicle was traveling 60 mph. The vehicle was repaired. The failure and the current mileage was 23,000.
