My Buick LaCrosse started to have clunking and strange steering problems. Brought it in for ignition recall. ABS light came on about a month ago. Dealer diagnosed and found it was both R/F wheel speed sensor related. Apparently the wheel speed sensor drops out, loses the signal - parts and labor stimate $506.79 plus tax. This car, although not a late model, only has about 34,000 miles on it. This was my mom's car purchased new and used only for food shopping. Should this have happened with so few miles? Not happy about this.
