After reading about the Buick Rendezvous Class Action Lawsuit:
http://www.autobuyguide.com/2002/12-aut/buick/rendezvous/recalls/index.html (long list!!)

When the vehicle's engine, (2002 Buick Rendezvous CX with 56000 miles) started making a knocking sound when the engine is 1st started, I started this research on
04/16/2009.
So, GM tried using a less effective, (but more cost effective and none tested) barrier between the engine coolant, and the engine oil.
Have they ever heard the term - "oil and water don't mix"?
Well, neither does engine collant and engine oil.
This sucks... I'm pissed.... and I know I'm supposed to make a "whole" new complaint for each and every thing... but, (sorry Car Complaint people) here's the whole list.
1st - Air Conditioner went out at 40K --$1200.00
2nd - Fuel Level Sensor (in the fuel tank attached to fuel pump) went out at 55K $550.00
3rd - Engine is knocking, and crud is spreading all over the engine at 56K $1200-1800?
4th - No wonder this car is on the "WORST LIST" for vehicles.
Let's see.. why did Obama fire the CEO of GM? Geeeee.... I wonder?
Thanks GM for making me spend my hard earned money on this crap, instead of more important things... like -- food for my wife and two children, mortgage, education, etc...
