Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

The contact owns a 2005 Buick Rendezvous. The contact stated the power locks were supposed to unlock automatically once the vehicle was shifted in park however, the vehicle had to be unlocked manually. The dealer was contacted but provided no assistance. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 0 and the current mileage was 21,000.

The contact owns a 2005 Buick Rendezvous. The contact stated that the rear hatch on the vehicle does not lock. The indicator does not show that the hatch is open. She feels that this is a safety issue because the rear hatch can open at any time and endanger the lives of the third row passengers. The manufacturer would not assist. The current mileage was 60,000 and failure mileage was 43,000.
