Bought the car at 22,000 miles in June with only one owner. Two months later I was jumping the car every day just to get to work. It seemed like it was just a battery issue and that it was probably time for a new one. At this time there was no dash warning except for the original "battery saver active!). Once the car was started and jumped and driven, everything was okay. Went to general parts store and tested the car, no code. (No lights on to signal an issue so that jives). Left the store thinking I had done something wrong. Problem continued for a week and started to drain other systems. Now warnings and code would read, service power steering, roll window up and down, service charging center. These warnings, again, would disappear once the car had been started and the battery charged all the way so no code book would pull the issue. Go to general part store again for a test on battery and alternator. Upon test, the battery started smoking. The actually battery was being burned by the power the alternator was giving. So we replaced the alternator and battery and I went on my merry way. This "fix" only lasted 3 months before the problems started again. See more in additional complaints.
