The contact owns a 2006 Cadillac Cts. The contact stated that she was unable to remove the key from the ignition and the anti-theft warning message illuminated on the instrument panel. Also the temperature and fuel gauges malfunctioned. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who diagnosed that the electronic control module was defective and needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure who did not offer any assistance. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 120,000 and the current mileage was 120,500...updated 09/07/12 updated 09/18/2012

The contact owns a 2006 Cadillac Cts. The contact stated that she can drive countless miles with the emergency brake engaged. The vehicle has been to the dealer six times. The fuel gauge displays inaccurate readings on the instrument panel and was taken to the dealer three times for this failure. She has to keep a quarter tank of gas in her tank or else the vehicle will shut off. In addition, the radio changes stations automatically. The current mileage was 2,776 and failure mileage was 35.

The contact owns a 2006 Cadillac Cts. While driving 50 -70 mph, the headlights and instrument panel lights dimmed. The lights illuminated again minutes later. The failure occurred intermittently usually after driving for 2 hours. The instrument panel also failed during the daytime. Onstar stated that the lights do not remain off long enough to determine the cause of the failure. The dealer was unable to duplicate the failure. The failure mileage was 8,000 and current mileage was 20,000. Updated 03-04-08 the rear differential was noisy, the ABS would engage on their own

2006 Cadillac Cts with faulty brakes. Consumer states that all the servicemen at the dealer completely ignored her when she got there for the repair on her vehicle. She believes the workers at the dealer are practicing racism/discrimination. The rear view mirror was broken, the fuel gauge was fluctuating, the brake system, ABS and traction control lights illuminated. The consumer stated when she turned into a parking space, a loud dragging noise was heard and felt. Even though her foot was on the brake, the vehicle continued to roll, and growl. Updated 06/09/08
