I had no idea there was a problem, using 1/2 qt.of oil every 500-1000 miles, I noticed it in the middle of a 2000 mile road trip. When I took it to the dealer he said that the oil light won't come on until the oil is so low it's too late.The dealer said they could flush the system and change the oil and it may help. Other than that, just keep an eye on the oil level.
