Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

Please take a moment & say thank you by donating $5 or whatever you can to the Center for Auto Safety.

Tires were checked during 3000 mile oil change and tire wear was reported as normal. 900 miles later we experienced a shimming when driving at around 70 miles an hour. Stopped to have tires checked at Goodyear dealer and the tires were worn down to wearbars approximately 4 inch strip on each of the front tires. Goodyear dealer stated and Cadillac confirmed that Cadillac Catera is noted for alignmnent problems causing unusual tire wear. This is a safety issue when in less than 900 miles a tire can wear to a seriously dangerous level. Research via various web sites indicates many Catera owners experiencing serious problems with dangerous tire wear and wheel alignments. (tiresize: P225/55R16)( dot number: Tire size: P225/55R16 )
