We learned after the purchase of the car that AL engine runs "hot" we have always been careful, We over heated and was towed back in 2016. The radiator was replaced and coolant pressure check. Car not driven much, but this past month it started over heating again despite careful monitoring brought it in immediately . No leaks, pressure checked OK, but the car starts heating up within half hour easy driving. According to mechanic he describes it as engine over heats and blows the coolant out. Mechanic thinks it is the head gasket which is a huge job. It would seem there is an engine defect that most likely cause the first event back in 2016 because the the car has always received good and timely care. We have only put 12,581 miles in the last 7 years. Total mileage 193,874.
