Roof leaking causes tailgate computer failure. The tailgate as a result does not work. Because of the way gm designed this equipment it fails, causing flooding of the tailgate well and destruction of computer and module. There is no way to raise or lower the tailgate manually. Gm fixed this problem in 2011 but not under government recall. I am concerned that this problem will recur with costly replace of computer parts needed each time it does
