The contact owns a 2011 Cadillac SRX. The contact stated that the brake warning indicator light was illuminated. The contact stated that the vehicle was taken to the local dealer for routine maintenance and informed about NHTSA Campaign Number 21V473000 (Suspension). The dealer informed the contact there was an excessive amount of rust and they were unable to complete the recall repairs. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was approximately 107,342.
