Have been waiting for replacement seat heater from Cadillac for a year now!!! My wife is a t4 paraplegic and needs the heater year round for pain while traveling in the car. The dealer is not a problem it's Cadillac!!! I have even called them and opened a case and after nine months they said the part would be in and replaced by the Nashville dealer in March. Guess what, it's may and still resolution to this issue.

I think it's ridiculous to have to wait on a part for a 2013 model car for a year now and no resolution. It's a sad day when I can get parts for my 25 year old motor home in three days most of the time and over a year for Cadillac and I still have no resolution. Cadillac closed my case in March saying it would be resolved in March so I really don't see the need to open another just to hear the same excuses over and over from them for months!

Shame on you Cadillac!! What's happened to that thing called integrity!! God help anyone who has a problem that is really serious as in mechanical. Thanks for reading.

heated seats came on and could not be turned off

In my experience of 25 years owning Cadillacs they have a predilection for problems with their electronic gizmos - I guess that this is typical. Never buy one without a full warranty, those electronics cost a fortune to fix. I guess I would switch to an import if I wanted reliability and I was bothered by having to spend hours every few months hanging around my GM dealer waiting for them to figure out a solution to the latest problem.

Update from Feb 12, 2015: The Dealer fixed the problem - took a while as both front seats had to be removed and the computer reprogrammed
