The failure of Cadillac Cue screens is a fairly widespread problem and a pretty expensive one to fix, yet Cadillac does nothing for the customer. No wonder people buy foreign cars that are backed by a decent warranty. I will think twice before I buy a Cadillac again. Cadillac knows that this is a bad part, yet they do nothing to remedy the situation but make money for the dealerships in replacing the bad Q screens at approximately $1500 a clip.

display screen cracked

My CUE was fine, no signs of any problems. I got into my car yesterday afternoon and BAM! The screen is cracked. I have researched online that this problem will increase and eventually become unresponsive. I also read that Cadillac is not handling the problem unless you are under warranty. Of course, I am not.

display screen cracked

Went outside to find my display cracked. Went to the dealer and was tole that they would have to take the display out to get the part number off of it before they could determine the cost of the part, but gave me a ball park of $900.00.

After doing some research on the problem I find out it has been ongoing on Cadillac cars for some time so, I would like for Cadillac to issue a recall on the defective display and cover the cost of repairs since they were aware it was a problem and decided not to do anything about it...

There are thousands of complaints on the cue system. I got a small crack and it made certain spots on the screen unusable. Then one day out of no where I got in the car and half the screen was spider webbed and it doesn't function at all now. With all the complaints and this happening so frequently there should be a recall and these systems should be replaced. These aren't cheap cars, and I can't even use one of it's main features.

I read there are multiple cases where this has occurred, yet Cadillac refuses to recall or pay for repairs. Would never recommend Cadillac again.

At barely over 50,000 miles (of course), a quarter size area in upper left corner of cue screen developed some circular scratches. These grew daily in area. I visited Moses in Charleston, WV where vehicle was purchased and immediately was asked, "What did you do to it?". When explained what had happened, they immediately said its not covered since out of warranty and cost is in area of $1,800 to $2,000!!!!

Really? No attempt was made to contact Cadillac to see it there were others with same problem or to have a factory rep look at it. I have since learned on line that others are having same problem. The screen now is approximately 50% covered and today the screen completely locked up. I will NEVER purchase another Cadillac!!! The price for a luxury car that has such poor service is too much for me!
