I bought a new Cadillac SRX in 2014 changed oil when computer told me to. I used full synthetic oil, and it started to rattle on start up around 40,000 miles. I didn't think anything of it, then at 60,000 the engine light started to come on & then go out. I took it to Cadillac and they said it was using oil & wrecked the chains. I haven't even put brakes on it yet & it needs chains. If this isn't a bad design, I don't know what is.
