Emergency brake not holding/working. Parking brake shoes glazed/worn on a 2 year old truck with 30,000 miles on it. This is an unusually high failure rate for the parking brake, the regular brakes are still good but the parking brake has failed. The G.M. service personnel confirmed that they have seen a lot of emergency/park brake failures.
