The instrument panel blacks out during the summer months until the vehicle has cooled sufficiently. Living in the southern desert, this is a yearly issue and hugely dangerous. There is no speedometer, no mileage, no warnings- nothing! To compound the issue, the AC/Heating system has only air vents on the front dash. It takes FOREVER to cool the interior (did I mention it has black leather interior?) for the panel to function- not to mention backseat passengers are miserable for the lack of air.
