The contact owns a 2009 Chevrolet Express 1500 stabilitrak 4WD. The contact stated the interior paint was peeling from the steering column beneath the power steering reservoir. In addition, the hose running from the reservoir to the power steering pump was missing the clip to prevent the hose from causing friction to the steering column and wheel. The contact stated the hose would rub against the steering wheel whenever it was turned. The dealer installed a zip tie to the hose to prevent it from rubbing. The contact was concerned that the failure could potentially cause a crash. The VIN was not available. The failure and current mileages were 40,000.
