Being that I cannot afford car payments, my Dad made sure that I was able to have his 2006 HHR after he died in 2014. He got the car used in 2013, where he lived in TN. This car came with a car-fax history, and it was in Virginia with original owner before he purchased it. This car was in the South, where the winters are not nearly as harsh. Since being granted ownership of this car, it has been in Ohio, and the undercarriage looks good. Starting several months ago, I began to notice an intermittent faint gas smell. Noticed lately that it has been getting stronger on inside of car, as well as outside near driver side rear tire fender well. It can cost up tp 1,000.00 to fix if it is the same issue others on this site are speaking of. And 89.00 for a Chevy dealership to look at. Just worried about this, and sad to know that GM won't rectify this problem.
