For the most part, this HHR has had its quirks from day one. But this one looks like a biggie. I have no idea what enhanced traction system is...but a few days ago the light came on saying service traction. O.k. so I first went to my manual to see what was the problem and if I could solve the problem by looking at the manual. Well, I did as the manual indicated to shut the light off and it stayed off for a few days but now it is back on.
So my question is what exactly does this system do and how do I explain to the dreaded mechanic? (that I probably will have to go see to get this problem fixed). It seems that this car always makes me look like I am lying when I take it in. The first time I had a vibrating front end...I knew enough to know that it most likely could be the rotors...no one believed me. They insisted I was imagining things and that because it was a new car there was no way that could be possible. So, after yelling like a crazed female they called the manufacturer and lo and behold they ordered the dealer to fix the rotors because there was a possibility that the rotors were bad. So, my question is this how do I approach the mechanic to tell them about this problem.
Does driving my car become dangerous if they can't fix it immediately...I like this car but it has had its issue. Any suggestions for those who are having the same issue.
