My security light goes on when I start my car and the radio resets to 12:00. It still starts but it freaks me out. I stopped by my mechanic to tell him I was going to the dealer but I wanted his opinion (I really trust him). He told me he just read recently that if you turn the key to the on position and leave it there for at least 15 minutes it resets the security issues. So far so good, but it hsa only been a day. Hopefully this will save an expensive trip to the dealer, as he didn't charge me at all.
