I own a Chevy Optra (2006). It has been my pride, until six months ago when it started to stall while driving without any warning. In some cases the check lights came on. Other times the engines would be running but the car wouldn't move when the accelerator is pressed. I had to put the engine off and then restart the car.
Also what I noticed was that the car at times jerked heavily when the accelerator was pressed before dying out. When restarting, the car would vibrate with a jerky noise (unlike the usual purring of the engine). During all these times, I could smell petrol in the air.
