The headlight beam is narrowly focused to the front only which gives zero lighting to the side when making a turn at night. This is especially bad when rain and poor conditions are present. Based on other comments this is not a fixable problem and in my mind is very dangerous. You could very easily hit a pedestrian or other obstacle when making a right or left turn in the dark. This is very poor design ... no concern for ergonomics or driver safety. Must be the bean counters designed this truck.

This is the 4th GM truck that I have owned and this truck has by far the worst headlights that I have ever experienced. I live in a rural area with no street lights and lots of deer, I won't drive this truck at night because you can't see anything.

We just purchased the truck on 08/04/2015 and traded in a 2011 Kia Sedona Minivan. While the truck is great and justifies the cost difference in payments, the headlights suck. No way to sugar coat it. The mini van had projectors with standard halogen bulbs and the light from them was amazing. Everything was nice and clear. The lights coming off the truck well they suck, it is the normal housing not projector or HID setup. The light coming out of them is no better then the 25yr old s10 my brother in law has. I wish Chevrolet would make it standard like GMC does and just put the projectors on ALL trucks.
