I see similar issues that I'm having. I hit a deer at 70 mph, bumper went into the tires, side air bags popped the plastic covers off and the powder filled the cab as the air bag motors/air went off but we never saw the air bags. After coming to a stop and rolling down the windows to get air my 3 kids were hurting from seat belt burns on their shoulders but everyone was okay.

After loosing my wife in a car accident I'm very picking on safety when purchasing new vehicles. I went from Ford to GM for safety reasons but finding out I paid for safety I'm not seeing that didn't work for my kids and myself. I very disappointed enough to turn the vehicle back in but before I will go buy a new Ford Truck. Finance companies don't need to finance vehicles that the dealers don't stand behind - maybe if everyone would return there vehicles dealers would loose finance companies. It sad to see company's who just want to screw the hard working people around. I'm waiting now to hear back from GMC - and they said they would stand behind it if there at fault but if they see they're not at fault. I will be seeking legal council. They really need a recall and this to go viral on the Internet.
