CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2017 Chevy Silverado 1500 has an early trend of the transmission shifting hard, surging & jerking.
At the moment these trucks are still under warranty. However this transmission problem shows up right away with the average reported mileage only around 3,000 miles, so for now the 2017 Silverado earns our "Beware of the Clunker" badge.

This scared the daylights out of me. There were no brakes when pulling out of the parking space. I took it to the dealership for the recall before I ever had a problem, and now it actually happened. And now the dealer wants to look at it again, but I know how this works. If it isn't doing it when the service department drives it, I will get charged a fee. This isn't my first rodeo.
I am taking it to Bayway Chevrolet on Monday 2/8/2021 in Pearland Tx. I will let y'all know how I rate Bayway on Monday.
