1) just happened. 2) the resister in the blower motor circuit shorts out. Which causes the wiring harness to burn up melting the plastic at the connector to the resister and the black wire leading to the resister. 3) I had to replace the resister to the circuit and splice in a new wiring harness for the resister.

No prior warnings that anything was wrong with the truck, truck suddenly lost power and died. Transported to dealership was determined mouse nest under ubec, wires chewed and full of mouse urine which caused a short. Box that contains this part is very accessible to rodents. Fortunately, this happened in the driveway, on the road I would have had no steering or brakes, and possible fire.

The fuel pump and the fuse blew out. This occurred while the consumer was driving on September 17, 2005. There was no warning before this occurred. The dealership was the one that diagnosed the problem. They replaced the fuel pump and the pcmb fuse. The problem has not recurred since.
