The contact owns a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 equipped with Goodyear Wrangler sr-a tires, size: P265/65/R18 (na). While driving 65 mph, the vehicle began to shake and rumble. The contact replaced the rear passenger side tire with a spare tire. The contact also stated that the molding around the rear passenger wheel well was damaged. The tire was the original equipment. The dealer and manufacturer were not contacted. The tire failure mileage was unknown and the vehicle failure mileage was 136,000.

The contact owns a lund boat trailer equipped with carlisle radial tires, size: 185/80/R13 (na). The trailer was being hauled by a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. While driving approximately 60 mph, the boat trailer and vehicle vibrated. The contact was able to move the vehicle onto the road shoulder and found that the rear passenger side trailer tire thread had separated, causing the boat's front fender to fracture. The contact took the trailer to an unknown independent shop and had the tire replaced with the spare tire. The tire manufacturer was not contacted. The VIN and vehicle failure mileage were not available. The trailer mileage was not applicable. The tire failure mileage was 100.

The contact stated that while driving at 65 mph, the rear passenger tire lost air rapidly, making it very difficult to control the vehicle. The contact was able to maneuver to the shoulder. The tire was replaced with a spare by the contact. The manufacturer had not been aware of the failure. The failure and current mileages were 42,000.
