Huge win for car owners! All TSBs to be made public. The Center for Auto Safety just made the NHTSA (US Government) make public the full text of all TSBs from now on. They are the same organization that has petitioned the NHTSA & filed lawsuits to protect car owners over exploding gas tanks & other major safety issues. Whenever you drive in your car, you are safer thanks in part to a lot of work over the years by this small but very effective consumer advocacy group.

The contact owns a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 equipped with Goodyear Wrangler at/S, size 265/70/17 tires. The contact stated that while driving at 65 mph, the rear passenger tire lost air rapidly, making it very difficult to control the vehicle. The contact was able to maneuver to the shoulder. The tire was replaced with a spare by the contact. The manufacturer had not been aware of the failure. The failure and current mileages were 42,000.
