Silverado 2500 LTZ 6.0L V8

  • Automatic transmission
  • 100,415 miles

20 miles from home when engine just revs at stoplight. Nursed it home, next day wouldn't go anywhere. Called Chevy dealer to look at, they said need a new transmission, I argued as it only has 100,000 miles. They serviced transmission at 94,000, torque converter went out at 98,000. Chevy honored the torque converter under warranty, but God damn 2,000 miles later transmission out. 6,316 dollars to get remanufactured with 2 yr 100,000 mile warranty. Bullshit if Chevy knew about it, I want my money back.

Silverado 2500 High Country V6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 50,000 miles

The transmission seems to shift with a loud clunk going into and out of low gear. Both axle seals have already been replaced.

Silverado 2500 WT 6

  • Automatic transmission
  • 34,500 miles

Something I thought I would never say, may have to tow my $46,000 3 year old 2500 hd to a Dodge or Ford dealer for a trade in ( two months ago I would have rather gotten covid then buy a Ford)
