The contact owns a 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe. The contact stated that while driving at low speeds, he experienced unwanted ABS activation. As a consequence, he experienced extended stopping distances. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, and a technician concluded that the ABS sensor and the wheel hub needed to be replaced at an expense of $2000. No repairs were made. The failure and current mileages were 128,000.
