On four ocassions I have had cold air blow out of my heater after the engine temperature gauge was over 100 degrees. After contiuously moving the control knob on and off, eventually, sometimes an hour later the heat comes on. This just started to occur this year. By the time I was able to get to a dealer there was heat coming out and they could not find any problems. When there is cold air coming out, you can depress the "flow thru air and air conditioning" buttons and the light on these buttons do not illuminate. When the heat comes back on, the lights on these buttons illuminate. I have told this to the dealer but their "diagnostic" check, again, shows no problem. It appears to me that this could be an electrical problem or a bad switch. Just the other day, two days ago, when this last happened, I had the radio on am and when I moved the heat switch from "off" to "on" this created static on my radio.
