Car has been riding roughly. Dealership found a leaking “strut†and initially quoted a $2000 repair cost. My extended warranty company covers struts, but not shocks, which they claim there are because of the “coil spring over†design. Are they struts or shocks?? It's ridiculous. Air conditioner is busted now also. Dealership also found a transmission fluid leak and an oil line leak at this time. I went in for an oil change and a brake recall issue and came out with a $4700 repair/maintenance estimate!
These problems exposed both GM and my extended warranty company in my eyes (I’ll go off on the warranty company with the BBB). I bought this car new for nearly $60,000. Shame on you GM. Last Chevy I buy! Last Chevy my family buys. No more Chevy advocacy from me GM. Only warnings to anyone who will listen. Shame on you GM. By the way, the dealership was the bright spot in this mess. They worked through the problems with me superbly.
