- Summary
- This Preliminary Information communication provides information to the technician about vehicles that the lift-gate actuator or strut that is going to be removed or replaced. If the actuator or strut comes loose off a ball stud after it has been reinstalled. Technician will need to replace the ball stud or ball stud w/bracket, the actuator or strut, and ensure the ball socket clips are properly orientated and seated to prevent it from reoccurring.
